Police seek information on Ypsilanti shooting that killed Belleville man

Incident happened Tuesday around 11 p.m.

YPSILANTI, Mich. – The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents to come forward with any information they have about a shooting that left 22-year-old Alonzo Hollie, from Belleville, dead.

Police responded to a call about the shooting of a man in a vehicle on the 900 block of West Michigan Avenue in Ypsilanti Around 11 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26.

“Your cooperation and support could help us bring some sense of justice and closure to the family of Mr. Hollie and prevent future violence,” officials wrote on social media.
