After cloud cover stuck around throughout a good chunk of the day on Saturday and some rain showers as well, we will keep the trend of soggy weather into the forecast looking ahead into the end of the weekend on Sunday.
Our front is moving through the region early this morning, so we will start the day with showers scattered through mid-morning, cloud cover and some dense fog as possible in the morning as well. High temperatures cooler, heading for around 70° by late Sunday afternoon.
We will start to break up the cloud cover this evening into overnight, partly cloudy skies can be expected with overnight lows dropping into the upper 40s.
High-pressure build into the region for Monday, that means a mixture of sunshine and clouds to start next week, cooler temperature sticking around again. High temperatures heading into the upper 60s by Monday afternoon.
Our next chance of showers and thunderstorms rolls into the region by Tuesday with another funnel boundary rolling in as well. Some of those storms could be on the stronger side on Tuesday too, the Storm Prediction Center has placed south of Metro Detroit in a marginal risk (1 out of 5) on our severe weather scale.
We could see a few gusty thunderstorms as we work through Tuesday afternoon and into Tuesday evening. With some sunshine, high temperatures getting warmer, heading into the mid 70s by Tuesday afternoon.
