Seasonal Start to the Week Ahead of Tuesday Storms
Dry weather with some high clouds today give us filtered sunshine before we see some clearing before sunset today.
SUNRISE: 6:22 AM
We are starting the workweek with seasonal temperatures, highs in the upper 60s.
SUNSET: 8:39 PM
We will begin with sunshine tomorrow then clouds will build ahead of showers and possible thunderstorms in the late afternoon/evening. Generally, cities southwest of a Flint to Detroit line are in a marginal (level 1) risk for severe thunderstorms Tuesday as a warm front lifts through the region. All threats are on the table from damaging wind, large hail and an isolated weak tornado. We rise to 80 degrees on Wednesday and then there is another chance for showers on Thursday which will usher in cooler weather for the rest of the week only topping out in the 60s Thursday through the weekend.
