4Warn Weather – After another beautiful day on Thursday with lots of sunshine and mild temperatures, soggy changes are on the way, looking ahead through the end of the week and into the upcoming weekend.

Friday

As we transition from a sunny Thursday, expect more clouds to roll in overnight and early Friday morning. Rain showers will start to make their way in after midnight tonight, setting the stage for a potentially wet Friday morning. Overnight lows will dip into the upper 50s tonight.

Be prepared for a warm front to move north overnight Thursday and early Friday morning, followed by a cold front Friday afternoon into Friday evening. This could lead to thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, so keep an eye out for any weather updates. The chance of rain showers will persist for the majority of the day on Friday.

No severe weather is anticipated, although there could be some brief heavy downpours. High temperatures into the upper 70s by Friday afternoon.

Weekend forecast

Once the frontal boundary moves through the region, we will keep the cloud cover to start the day on Saturday, but a few breaks in the clouds are expected as well for some sunshine.

With some moisture hanging around, we will keep the chance of a few rain showers into the forecast. High temperatures in the low 70s by Saturday afternoon.

Another frontal boundary swings through Sunday, ending the weekend. This keeps a little sunshine and a few rain showers in the forecast. High temperatures will be heading for the middle 70s by Sunday afternoon.

Next week

High pressure will return on Monday to start next week, bringing a mix of sunshine and clouds. Expect seasonal temperatures in the 70s. However, thunderstorm chances will return to the forecast on Tuesday and Wednesday, with temperatures rising once again.

Expect high temperatures to head into the upper 70s on Tuesday and back into the lower 80s on Wednesday. We will keep the chance of some rain showers in the forecast with a little sunshine as well. By next Thursday, the high temperatures will still be well above average, reaching the upper 70s by Thursday afternoon.
