Medical examiner testifies at murder trial in case of missing Eastpointe teen

Assistant medical examiner Dr. Leigh Hlavaty, with the Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office, took the stand Tuesday, May 14 at the trial of Jaylin Brazier in Detroit, Michigan. Brazier is charged with second-degree murder in the disappearance, and believed death, of his 17-year-old cousin Zion Foster, who went missing from her Eastpointe home in 2022.
