Former Clinton Township police officer sentenced to attend Death Museum, probation

MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – A 36-year-old former Clinton Township police officer was sentenced Tuesday, May 14, to two years probation and to attend the Death Museum.

According to authorities, an audit by Michigan State Police concluded that in August 2022, John Hreno ran a license plate into the Law Enforcement Information Network (LEIN) that was never part of an investigation and that there was no valid law enforcement for the plate to be checked.

Hreno was charged and pleaded guilty to unauthorized disclosure of LEIN information. He was sentenced to two years probation, 25 hours of community service and to attend the Death Museum.
