BLISSFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – One person was killed and one person was injured when an off-road vehicle rolled over multiple times in a Lenawee County field.

Michigan State Police said the crash happened around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024, in a field at 7464 Scott Highway in Blissfield Township.

Police said a yellow Honda side-by-side was traveling south in the field when the driver lost control, which caused the ORV to roll over multiple times.

The driver, a 33-year-old man, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. A passenger in the off-road vehicle sustained minor injuries and was evaluated by hospital staff.

Police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash. Anyone with information should contact Michigan State Police Trooper Justin Ott at 734-242-3500.
