Flashpoint: Dearborn mayor on critical Arab American vote -- and more

Watch Flashpoint every Sunday at 10 a.m. on Local 4 News and Local 4+

DETROIT – We’re just two days shy of the Michigan primary, but the races feel very settled.

That’s not to say there isn’t any drama coming. President Joe Biden has an unusual opponent, it’s uncommitted, and this isn’t a small matter.

Many political strategists will tell you Michigan is the linchpin to win the presidency in November. And yet, those upset with Biden’s positions on the Israel-Hamas war are urging voters to show their displeasure by withholding their support. Even though they are presumably even more upset by Donald Trump’s position on the matter.

We also have a conversation with the mayor of Dearborn, who has found himself a point man in the national conversation on this intense debate.

And, has the Alabama Supreme Court done the Democrats a favor by injecting new energy and anger into the abortion debate? Our roundtable will discuss.
