20-Year-Old Killed In Shooting
A popular Detroit radio personality announced Thursday that he is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for his brother's death.
DJ Pleads For Help In Catching Murder Suspect
Reggie Davis, known as "Reggie Reg" to listeners of his afternoon drive-time show on WJLB, and his family are offering $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who killed Vito Davis Sunday.
Detroit police say that Vito Davis, 20, was shot on Glenwood near Morang on the city's east side. The bullet struck a major artery. The victim tried to drive himself to the hospital, but struck a parked car along the way.
Vito Davis was taken to St. John's Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His funeral is scheduled for Saturday.
Vito Davis was a graduate of Denby High School, where he starred on the school's basketball team.
Reggie Davis is asking anyone with information in the case to contact Detroit police.
